About Us

Welcome to Logan Christian Church.  We are so glad that you have taken the time to visit our website.  We hope these pages will help you get to know more about us.  Please feel free to email us any questions.

Our Purpose

The purpose of the Church is to glorify God by fulfilling the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:36-40) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).  Following the New Testament example the members of this Church seek to:

Worship and glorify God in all they do. (John 4:24; 1Corinthians 10:31)

Evangelize and share with as many as possible in our community and around the world the Good News of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:18-20;  Acts 1:8; 2 Peter 3:9)

Disciple members toward full Christian maturity and train them for effective service through Bible teaching.  (Ephesians 4:11-13; 2Timothy 2:2)

Serve unselfishly, in the name of Jesus for growth of His Kingdom. (1Peter 4:10-11; Matthew 25:34-40; 1Thessalonians 5:11; Galatians 5:13)

Encourage, support, and pray for each other as members of one fellowship, the family of God.  (Acts 2:44-47; Hebrews 10:23-25; Romans 15:5-7; John 13:34-35)

The Logan Christian Church is a nondenominational and independent church.  We believe in the divine authority of the word of God, with Jesus Christ as the Head of the Church.  Recognizing, however, the benefits of mutual council and cooperation with other Churches we voluntarily affiliate with other Churches when it benefits God's greater Kingdom.
